Previously i had no issues on OS X 10.8.5, but now i have issues on OS X 10.10.3 When i check the notes for the currently available driver, it does not actually state that OS X 10.10 is supported, in fact the compatibility list ends with OS X 10.8. When are we going to see new drivers?? It clearly needs updating and this could be a contributing factor to the problems I am now having. I should also explain a bit more clearly. It is a seemingly random issue, not a permanent issue. Everything will be working fine for days or even weeks, but because the issue is random it makes things useless for live use. Basically when the issue occurs, there is an audio distortion in the playback from Traktor, it lasts just a second or so but is immediately followed by 1-2 second lag in timecode control. At this point everything needs restarting to get back to normal. As you can imagine, this makes things too unstable to be classed as 'reliable'.

Its strange because when i first upgraded to Yosemite, i didn't get any issues, this has developed over the past 3 weeks. A few guys are calling it 'megalatency' and a workaround is to change the latency settings up and down immediately after the problem occurs. This is obviously not a fix but it gets things back to normal with the least hassle (just a little distortion on the audio).

The one common factor, amongst other people having this issue, seems to be DJM mixers that are 'scratch certified' though i also had the same issue in Serato DJ. Also when the issue happened in Serato i wasn't actually using timecode, just CDJ's in HID mode but it still happened.
