The Six Fyx Conversion Kit is a unique solution cooked up here at Fyxation that's designed to help you add a few gears to an existing 120mm track or fixed gear frame. The whole point of the Six Fyx isn't to 'fix' anything. Over the years fixed gear bikes have been embraced by the masses due to their simplicity, low cost and ease of maintenance. Over time however, many people have realized that while riding fixed is fun, there are times when gears are good as well. Rather than having to go out and buy an entirely new bike to make it up that hill on your commute or give your knees a rest from riding fixed, the Six Fyx Conversion Kit was designed to let you turn that fixed gear frame into a six speed road bike.
Based off our proprietary 120mm 6 speed hub/cassette, the Six Fyx works with any 120mm spaced track frame, even those with a horizontal dropout. Using a combination of our hub/cassette, Fyxation removable derailleur hanger and our indexed bar end shifter, the Six Fyx let's you easily convert your beloved track frame into a six speed city bike.

I installed it using 9-speed instructions I found on Shimano's website (along with my existing set of Tektro brakes and a brand new Shimano 9 speed CN-HG93 Ultegra chain. I secured the rear brake cable using Dia Compe clamps on ebay but couldn't find any for the shifter cable so I just used plenty of electrical tape.
